When planning a detergent powder production line, it helps to identify which parts of the production process your project actually needs. A new factory may require equipment from raw material preparation through to packaging. An operating plant may only need a blending section, additional conveying equipment or a change to its packing arrangements.
These are useful topics to bring to a meeting with Meibao at Cosmopack Asia 2026. From November 10–12, our team will be at Booth 9-F26 at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong, to discuss new production lines, expansions and equipment upgrades.
Start with the Material Entering the Line
Will the plant manufacture its own base powder, or will it receive base powder from another source? This decision gives the equipment discussion a clear starting point.
Where spray-dried base powder will be produced on site, the project may include slurry preparation, spray drying and the downstream stages needed for the finished product. If base powder is purchased, the equipment discussion may begin with receiving, handling and blending that material with other ingredients.
Post-addition, screening and conveying should then be considered according to the product and process. There is no need to include every available machine simply because it appears in a complete-line description.
Look at the Connections Between Sections
An equipment list explains what is being supplied, but it does not fully explain how the plant will operate. The connections between machines deserve attention too.
For example, where will powder go after blending? Can the next section receive it at the required rate? How will it reach the packaging equipment? Depending on the operating schedule, intermediate holding may need to be considered.
For an expansion, retaining existing equipment can affect these decisions. Its position, condition and working capacity help determine how a new section can be connected. A simple layout showing the equipment already in place is often a useful starting point for this conversation.
Include Packaging in the Equipment Discussion
Packaging requirements should be considered while the processing sections are being planned. Small retail packs and larger bags can call for different filling and handling arrangements. Running several sizes also introduces changes between production runs.
The stated speed of a packaging machine alone does not establish finished output. Pack size, powder characteristics, material supply and production schedules all need to be considered together.
If the project aims to increase output, it is worth checking whether the existing packaging section can handle the additional powder before deciding which processing equipment to add.
Bring an Outline, Even If the Details Are Still Open
You can begin with the product you want to make, your planned output and the country where the equipment will operate. Tell us which sections already exist, which you hope to retain and where changes are being considered.
Factory photographs, a rough layout and packaging examples can make the discussion more specific. You do not need a complete formulation or a finished engineering plan.
Zhejiang Meibao Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. can support process design, equipment configuration, manufacturing, installation and commissioning. The equipment and service scope will be agreed according to the project.
